The Vietnam e-Government Symposium 2007 features the theme of "Vietnam’s E-Government Journey: Where we are now, what the future will be" . It will take place in Hochiminh City on 04-06 December, 2007. The event is co-organized by Ministry of Information and Communication, Information and Communication Department of Hochiminh City and International Data Group - IDG.
Following the 4th successful symposium in Hanoi, the 5th symposium will focus on embracing practical issues of e-Government in Vietnam, creating better public services; bringing benefit for businesses and citizen to strengthen e-government model and improve government management capacity.
This Symposium includes 2 main highlight activities:
The Conference will be centered on keynotes delivered by experienced experts, and fellow providers; outstanding speakers from Ministry of Information and Communication about the real issues in e-Government implementation; a speech by the. Office of the Government representative about Vietnam’s e-Government roll-out in the process of public administrative reform.
The Exhibition runs concurrently with the Symposium. It will showcase the latest products, solutions, services and core technology for e- Government application by local and international vendors.
The two-day event is expected to attract over 600 conference attendees and 1,500 exhibition visitors...
